ABOUT US
CANOE brewpub is located in a designated heritage site on Victoria's active inner harbour. Originally the 'City Lights' building, it was erected in 1894 to house the coal-powered electric generators which powered Victoria's streetlights. Today, the building stands as a proud heritage landmark on the downtown waterfront.
CANOE's commitment to sustainable business practices is apparent across all aspects of our operation. We maintain a comprehensive compost and recycling program, and partner with local suppliers throughout the year to use fresh, seasonal, local products in our menu.
